How many square feet can the Air Systems Cover?
The EnviroKlenz Air System treats 250 cubic feet per minute on the highest speed setting and ideally, you want to achieve 3-5 air exchanges per hour in the area you are using the system. In a typical home (assuming approximately 10-foot high ceiling), this equates out to be around ~ 1000 square feet or less.
What is the difference between the Air System Plus and Air System?
The EnviroKlenz Air System Plus is larger and contains (2) UVC Bulbs, which help germicidal irradiation and internal cleaning of the system. There are also indicator lights that inform you when individual UV-C lamps need to be replaced.
While the EnviroKlenz Air System does not contain the (2) UVC Bulbs and is smaller in size.
How many speeds does the unit have?

How is this technology different from Carbon?
Carbon is a commonly used material in odor control applications. It absorbs odors; however, it does have several serious disadvantages. Most significantly, carbon only physisorbs toxic, noxious, and other odor-causing molecules, meaning that the unwanted chemicals do not react chemically with the carbon and can be released later and cause the re-emergence of an odor believed to have been initially neutralized or eliminated. Changes in humidity or temperature can hasten this process, causing the odors and other unwanted chemicals to be released back into the air. EnviroKlenz® products have proven to be highly efficient “adsorptive neutralizers” for chemicals making them not only competitively advantageous over carbon, but ideal in multiple chemical sensitive situations. We purchased the Mobile Air UV System for our condo in a converted factory. Our unit is on the top floor of this three storey building. It has a coal tar pitch roof that was supposed to be scraped clear of the coal tar pitch during the conversion but the job wasn’t done properly. When the sun heats up the roof there is a strong smell from the chemicals in the coating. When tested, our unit had the most serious odour issues of the 9 units on the top floor and there is a pending lawsuit against the builder, roofer, city, etc. Seven years living with it and nothing has been done so using an Enviroklenz system seemed like a good way to deal with the problem in our unit. It has proven to be very effective. With high ceilings (13 – 15 feet) the volume of air somewhat exceeds the capacity of the system but by moving it around and running it almost high night and day it has made a huge difference in our comfort. Wow, Great machine ! We have been running it (Air Purifier with UV) for a week and the rooms are all habitual. Before, my GF experienced a scratchy throat, teary eyes, a cough and headaches. Now she is fine. It was a new first floor bedroom with a full bath (352 sq.ft.) that had some partial foam insulation blown in. That and some new bedroom furniture (made partially from compressed wood) was the source of the problem. Now all is fine. We did also install the Enviroklenz HVAC filter in furnace for the rest of the house also (1800 sq.ft.). Both of those together really helped. I have a granddaughter starting college next year, I’ll be buying another machine for her dorm room. She has asthma, hay fever and eczema. It’s a lot of money, but well worth it.

I was totally impressed with the customer service of this company. The young man was extremely patient answering my massive amount of questions. Ordering was simple, fast, packing was great, and the delivery on time. I especially like the metal housing on this air cleaner which eliminates any outgassing like my former Germ Guardian (plastic unit) was guilty of doing after multiple uses. The wheels are also nice for scooting it around. It is somewhat intense sounding on high but I find it a very relaxing white noise. I run it on high for an hour then set it back on low. The only thing I would improve on this machine is the bright green light on the front when you are running the UV light. It’s way too harsh for sleeping. The light emitting from the side vents are plenty to know the UV feature is working. I would probably like some type of handle slot on the side for ease of carrying it up stairs. I will do another petri dish test in a month to see if there is any change in bacteria count to gauge if it is doing the job… Then decide if it was worth it. So far all I can tell is the air seems crisper, cleaner, and I’m not quite as congested after one month use. I really like the amount of cool fresh air it expels when it’s on. A cold bedroom is mandatory for me to sleep. One more plus is that it’s made in America which is very impressive to me. Their warranty far exceeds most other companies and the filters are priced fairly for what you are getting. Overall, I’m very pleased with this investment in my high quality clean air machine.
