EnviroKlenz® Air Cartridge
Microbial Reduction Rate Test

Testing Conducted by Intertek

An EnviroKlenz® Air System Plus unit was placed in a sealed test chamber measuring 1008 cubic feet, and a microbial suspension was aspirated into the room. An EnviroKlenz® Air System Plus with an EnviroKlenz® Air Cartridge were the only test instruments used.

*Note: No HEPA filter or UV lights were used in this test.

Results:

  • Virus (Phi X174 – 0.025 microns in size)- 99.9% removal rate
  • Gram-negative bacteria (E. coli)- 99.9% removal rate
  • Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus Epidermidis)- 99.9% removal rate

Chemical Reduction Test

Testing Conducted by Intertek

Testing shows that the EnviroKlenz® Air System decreased the concentration from 5.5ppm to 0.4ppm in 2 hours, and to 0.04 ppm in 4 hours.

UVC Performance Testing

Testing Conducted by Intertek

The testing confirmed that the spectral distribution wavelengths were in the germicidal range (UVC 254 nm) and is not in the wavelength that would produce ozone (160-240 nm) or ozone-related concerns.
