EnviroKlenz technology eliminates 99.9% of pathogens from the air

The EnviroKlenz air cartridge was successfully tested by a third-party agency

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – EnviroKlenz®, an indoor air quality company located in Bonita Springs, Fla., just released new third-party testing results validating the efficacy of the EnviroKlenz Air Cartridge against bacterial and viral pathogens in the air without the support of a HEPA filter or UV-C lights.

The test, conducted by Intertek, was evaluated with the EnviroKlenz® Air System Plus containing the EnviroKlenz® Air Cartridge, without the HEPA filter, and the UV-C lights turned off. The machine was placed inside of a 1,000 cubic feet sealed test chamber, and a microbial suspension was aspirated into it. Air samples were taken from the chamber in specified intervals over an 8-hour period, as well as without the unit in the chamber to provide the natural decay results.

The test was conducted against Staphylococcus epidermidis (bacteria), E. coli (bacteria), and phi-X174 (virus). Results showed a 99.9% reduction rate for all three pathogens. The virus used in the study measures 0.25-microns in size, and in retrospect, is about ¼ the size of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and influenza particles, serving as a surrogate for such.

The testing validated EnviroKlenz® claims about its air cartridge, showing greater efficacy against pathogens than most standard air systems equipped with a pre-filter and a HEPA filter. The EnviroKlenz® air cartridge contains a patented earth mineral technology that is composed of Magnesium Oxide, Zinc Oxide, and Titanium Dioxide. The EnviroKlenz Vice President of Operations, George Negron, stated:

“We are thrilled with the results and the offerings that the EnviroKlenz® air system provides to the general public. In a day and time where air filtration is so crucial, these two components in our system show efficacious removal results and should set the standard for what is being placed in enclosed spaces.”

This military-grade technology is currently implemented at the Washington District Public Schools, Chicago Public Schools, Georgia Tech, and others. For more information, please visit enviroklenz.com/testing.
